Dr. Wenfeng Wu currently is a Professor of Finance at the Antai College of Economics and Management, and the director of Division for Development Liberal Arts, at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
He was recognized as the Changjiang Scholar Distinguished Professor of China Ministry of Education, the Youth Changjiang Scholar (among the first group receiving the distinction), awarded the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars, and selected as a New Century Excellent Talent of China Ministry of Education in 2008.
Prof. Wu is the executive editor of China Finance Review International, an English academic journal on China finance research. He is a member of Supervisory Committee for Finance Undergraduate Degree of China Ministry of Education. He is also the director of Shanghai Financial Engineering Association.
He received his degrees in Shanghai Jiao Tong University, including BA (1996) in computer science, Master (1999) and Ph.D. (2001) in financial engineering.
Dr. Wenfeng Wu is interested in the field of Corporate Finance, Financial Market, and Financial Engineering. His research has been published in leading academic journals such as Review of Finance, The Journal of Law and Economics, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking & Finance.
He has received several research grants from National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Social Science Fund Major Projects and Social Science Fund of China Ministry of Education.
