James Zheng was born in Wannian County, Jiangxi Province(PRC). James Zheng received his doctor’s degree in Business Administration after 3 years’ study (from Sep. 1998 to June 2001) at Antai School of Management in Shanghai Jiao Tong University.James Zheng had been a visiting scholar to University of Washington（2005.09-2006.03） and Texas A&M University（2012.01-07）. Dr. Zheng Xingshan is a professor and doctoral supervisor in the Department of Organizational and Management, Antai School of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiaotong University.

James Zheng had been keen on studies about motivation theory, psychological contract in enterprises and the mechanics of cooperation benefits among employees. James Zheng has published 25 academic papers in China’s core journals, including Chinese Journal of Management Science and Academic Monthly,etc.. James Zheng had also published two treatises, one translated work and two compiled works as vice editor-in-chief. Among those published works, “A Study on the Theory of Enterprises’ Human Capital Property Rights” won a third prize in the 4th Scientific Research Achievement Awards sponsored by Ministry of Personnel PRC in Aug, 2004.
