QU Xi
Associate Dean
QU Xi is a professor of Department of Economics, Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Department of Economics from Peking University respectively in 2006 and 2008, and graduated from The Ohio State University with a Ph.D. degree in Economics in 2013.
Her research interests are econometrics, with a special focus on spatial econometric models and their applications to regional and urban economics, social networks and peer effects. She has published more than 30 papers in major economic journals, including Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Econometrics, Journal of Development Economics, etc., and has been cited by Handbook of Econometrics and other references.
She has received grant from the Excellent Youth Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and won the first prize of the 16th Shanghai Philosophy and Social Sciences Excellent Achievement. In terms of social services, she serves as the Associate Editor of the Journal of Economics and Management and a member of the 15th CPPCC Hong'kou District Committee.
