Antai College Visits Columbia University 2023-10-12

From October 9th to 11th, 2023, Dean Chen Fangruo of Antai College visited Columbia University, where he had previously worked for 25 years. The visit aimed to discuss potential collaboration between Antai College and Columbia University’s Business School and Engineering School.

 

At Columbia Business School, Dean Chen and his delegation met with Dean Costis Maglaras, Associate Dean Pierre Yared, and Paul Tetlock. Columbia Business School is one of the world’s most renowned business schools enjoying top-tier faculty and educational resources. Both parties explored various collaboration models.

At Columbia Engineering School, Dean Chen and his team engaged in discussions with the leadership and other faculty. Columbia Engineering School is one of the oldest and most distinguished engineering schools in the U.S., renowned worldwide for its research and education. The two institutions delved deep into future cooperation talks and set a plan for Columbia Engineering School to revisit Antai College for further collaboration discussions.

This visit not only strengthened the partnership between Antai College and Columbia’s Business and Engineering schools but also laid the groundwork for future collaborations. Dean Chen expressed that Antai College will continue to enhance its cooperation with both Columbia schools, jointly cultivating talents in interdisciplinary fields, advancing the internationalization of education.
