The Antai College of Economics and Management recently hosted a highly informative speech on the topic "Management Consulting as a Global Profession", on Friday, December 1, 2023. The speaker for the event was Robert Bodenstein, the Chair of International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI). He was invited by ACEM faculty, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering LING Wen.

The event was attended by Master of International Business (MIB) students who were keen to learn from an expert in the field of management consulting and gain insights into the latest trends and practices. The talk covered a wide range of topics, including the introduction of the profession of management consulting, the role of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI) in representing the profession of management consultants, consulting governance, and the role of ISO 20700. It also discussed implementing sustainability in enterprises and the role of management consultants in supporting the same.

Mr. Bodenstein, a highly experienced management consultant with over 40 years of experience in the field of IT, shared his knowledge and expertise with the students. He has worked with various technologies, including Cognos, ERP Software, iSeries, SAP, and basic SQL Knowledge. Apart from IT management and project management, he has also co-founded two IT start-ups and served as a member of the board in funding organizations. He has evaluated over 1000 IT projects, mostly with cutting edge technology background.

The event was a great success and provided students with an opportunity to learn from an industry expert. The venue for the talk was the Antai College of Economics and Management, which provided an excellent platform for students to interact with Mr. Bodenstein and gain valuable insights into the world of management consulting.
