  • His research interests include modelling on technology (especially energy technology) transitions considering uncertainty, technological learning, and heterogeneous agents. Currently, he is mainly working on the following two projects.

    1. The diffusion of EVs (electric vehicles) and the cooperation between EVS and grids -- The projection of EV diffusion and its influence on grid load, and the mechanisms and potential (business) modes for orderly charging as well as V2G (vehicle-to-grid).

    2. The transition of energy systems targeting carbon neutrality -- modelling energy systems with a high propotion of renewable energies both from a long-term perspective and a short-term perspective, and particularly on how green chemical engineering technologies could be coupled with energy systems with a high propotion of renewable energies.
