Journal of Management Analytics Recognized as One of China's Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals 2023-11-07
On October 27th, the "2023 Annual Report of International Citations of Chinese Academic Journals" was released at the 4th Forum on International Influence of Chinese Academic Journals. The Journal of Management Analytics (JMA), hosted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, was selected as one of China's "Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals" (top 5%), ranking 4th among social science journals.
Developed jointly by CNKI and Tsinghua University Library, the annual report, initiated in 2012, aims to objectively reflect the influence and discourse of Chinese academic journals in the international academic research field by statistically analyzing international citations of Chinese journals. The 2023 edition covers 6,888 Chinese academic journals, categorized into two groups: social sciences and technology. Each group's top 5% journals in the China International Influence Index (CI) are recognized as "China's Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals," including 175 technology journals and 80 social science journals. The report's statistics sources include international journals, conference papers, books, etc., totaling 23,572 international source journals.
According to the report, JMA's CI is 456.791, ranking 4th in humanities and social sciences journals. Its international citation impact factor is 5.514, with 77.64% of citations coming from foreign institutions.

Journal of Management Analytics (JMA) is an international academic journal hosted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Launched in 2014 as a quarterly publication, JMA focuses on big data and business analytics and their applications in business management, engineering management, and healthcare management. The journal is supported by the discipline of Management Science and Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, a national key discipline and a Shanghai peak discipline. JMA was selected for the 2021 "China's Excellent Action Plan for Science and Technology Journals" as a high-starting new journal.
