On January 12th, 2024, the Doing Business in China (DBIC) Online, China's leading online learning platform for business education, in partnership with Dow, a company focusing on ESG leadership to help deliver a sustainable future, jointly introduce the "Path to Carbon Neutral Certificate Program." This program brings together two professors from Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) and ten sustainability experts from the industry. It aims to equip learners with essential skills and knowledge for achieving carbon neutrality in the low-carbon era. The program incorporates real-world sustainable development practices from China, providing a comprehensive understanding of carbon neutrality objectives and strategies.

Featuring six courses, including two by ACEM professors on "Cap and Trade System in China" and "Green Supply Chain Management," and four interviews with industry experts on carbon neutrality, the program combines ACEM's academic strength with Dow's expertise in sustainability. Participants who complete the coursework and pass the exams will receive a certificate from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, acknowledging their proficiency in key aspects of carbon neutrality.
