ACEM's Associate Professor Ming Jiang of the department of Economics has been recently appointed as the Code and Data Editor for the prestigious journal Management Science. He will be leading the code and data review team to implement the journal’s research reproducibility initiative.

Management Science has been dedicated to promoting the reproducibility of scientific research, ensuring that the results of published papers can be reproduced by other scholars. To this end, Management Science has established the position of Code and Data Editor in 2019 to assist authors in providing the necessary data, materials, and information for other researchers to replicate the original results. The Code and Data Editor and their team will also periodically verify whether the reported results in accepted papers can be reproduced using the provided data, materials, and information.

Professor Jiang's new appointment not only reflects the international academic community's high recognition of his research capabilities but will also help to enhance the academic influence of Antai College of Economics and Management on a global scale. As the Code and Data Editor, Professor Jiang will play a crucial role in promoting research reproducibility and replicability in the field of management science, making significant contributions to elevating the academic reputation of our college.
