On September 20th, the Antai College of Economics and Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University held an orientation and academic information session to welcome the incoming class of the Master of International Business (MIB) program. The incoming cohort is comprised of 30 students hailing from over 15 countries spanning five continents, underscoring the highly international nature of the program. This year's class also includes 6 students pursuing double degrees - 3 from Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics in Portugal and 3 from the University of South Carolina in the United States.

Professor Ming JIANG, the MIB program director, hosted the orientation event. Students had the opportunity to introduce themselves to their classmates and learn important details about the program's degree requirements, academic calendar, course schedules and selection process.

Sydney SHARAFI, an incoming student from Oregon, USA, volunteered to serve as the class representative for this year's cohort. Janet CHEN, a staff member from the College’s Student Affairs Office, was also on hand to introduce the new MIB students to the SJTU International Students Union and the support services available to them.
