Vice President of Rutgers University visited ACEM 2024-11-01

On the morning of October 31, Associate Dean ZHU Xi met with Eric Garfunkel, Vice President for Global Affairs at Rutgers University, USA, along with Phil Wang, Director of International Office, and Lin Yi, Vice Director of International Office.

During the meeting, Associate Dean Zhu warmly welcomed Vice President Garfunkel on his first visit to our college. In the subsequent discussions, two parties reviewed the ongoing “4+1” undergraduate program collaboration and explored potential collaborations. Associate Dean Zhu expressed that, building on the successful collaboration to date, our college would further develop partnerships with Rutgers Business School and School of Management and Labor Relations at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Vice President Garfunkel stated that this visit had deepened his understanding of the Antai, highlighting the vast potential for future cooperation, and affirmed that it would further accelerate the implementation and advancement of various collaborative programs.

 

 

Founded in 1766 as Queen’s College, Rutgers University is the largest public research university in New Jersey and a member of the Association of American Universities. Currently, Rutgers University comprises 29 colleges across three campuses and a medical center. It boasts 125 fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and 71 members of the National Academy of Sciences.
