SJTU Institute for Proactive Healthcare Teams Up with Antai EMBA Lingxiuhui to Advance Women’s Health 2026-04-09

1.jpgOn the occasion of SJTU’s 130th anniversary, Institute for Proactive Healthcare, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) and Lingxiuhui, the women’s leadership platform of the EMBA program at Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM) has signed a strategic agreement to promote proactive health awareness among women, bridging academic research with real-world lifestyle impact.

The ceremony was presided over by Wu Jiarui, Executive Dean of the Institute for Proactive Healthcare, SJTU.

Yin Jie, Deputy Party Secretary of Antai College, viewed the collaboration a successful transformation of academic ideas into lifestyle solutions, pledging that ACEM will fully support this partnership, promote proactive health lifestyles among alumni, and contribute the "Antai Solution" to the Healthy China Initiative.

Prof. Jia Weiping, Dean of the Institute for Proactive Healthcare and academician, emphasized that women are not only caregivers but key drivers of health culture. “Focusing on women’s proactive health has far-reaching significance,” she said.

Wang Liping, President of Lingxiuhui, noted that many professionals neglect health management, adding that earlier pilot programs received strong engagement and will now be expanded. The club will deepen cooperation with the Institute for Proactive Health to pool efforts and make proactive health lifestyles benefit students, faculty, alumni, and the public at large.

Following the signing ceremony, the participating guests engaged in extensive discussions centered around "Female Health" initiative. Lingxiuhui members also toured the Institute’s smart health hub and digital nutrition and exercise platform. Women are often described as the “gatekeepers” of family health. The partnership aims to turn proactive health concepts into daily habits, with a focus on female-led wellness education and community building. With tangible outcomes, the collaboration honors SJTU’s 130th anniversary and contributes the university’s insight and commitment to the Healthy China Initiative.
