This fall, Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University welcomes a new cohort of 102 exchange students from 33 countries and regions, representing nearly 60 partner universities worldwide. Hailing from Europe, the Asia-Pacific and the Americas, they bring diverse perspectives and fresh academic energy to campus, forming one of the College's most internationally diverse cohorts to date.

To help new students settle in and start their journey smoothly, Antai college held the Orientation on September 12, delivering thoughtful and professional support for every incoming participant.Jiang Wenning, Secretary of the Party Committee of ACEM; Li Hourui, Deputy Secretary; and Chen Jing, Acting Director of the International Office, extended a warm welcome to all exchange students, expressing the College's sincere hopes for their time at Antai.

The academic affairs team then walked students through academic planning and course registration, helping them quickly adapt to the rhythm of study at Antai. Ice-breaking activities followed, giving students from different countries and disciplines the chance to connect, laugh together, and begin friendships across borders.

Over the coming semester, the new cohort will pursue their studies, engage with faculty and fellow students, and experience campus life at Antai — carrying forward the cross-cultural exchange and mutual learning at the heart of the College's global partnerships.
