信息、技术与创新系的源头，可追溯到1982年。在张钟俊院士的倡导下，经上海市科委批准，上海交通大学系统工程研究所正式成立。信息、技术与创新系教师始终立足于国内外管理实践，关注前沿科学问题，在信息和新兴技术驱动的商业创新、大数据分析、决策支持系统、绿色创新与管理、企业战略管理和创业管理等领域开展了广泛而深入的研究。与此同时，系里积极搭建共享学术交流与合作的平台，定期邀请国内外知名学者举办讲座和研讨会，并培养了大批优秀的博士后、博士研究生和硕士研究生，他们已经成为推动社会发展的中坚力量。

The Department of Information Technology and Innovation (ITI) traces its roots back to 1982, when the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Institute of Systems Engineering was established under the advocacy of Academician Zhang Zhongjun and with the approval of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Science and Technology. Over the years, ITI faculty have remained deeply grounded in China’s managerial practices while engaging with cutting-edge scientific questions. Their research spans technology-driven business innovation, big data analytics, decision-support systems, green innovation and management, corporate strategy, and entrepreneurship. The department has also built a vibrant academic platform for dialogue and collaboration, regularly inviting distinguished scholars from China and abroad to deliver lectures and seminars. Over the years, ITI has nurtured a large cohort of outstanding postdoctoral fellows, Ph.D. candidates, and master’s students, many of whom have gone on to become key contributors to social and economic development.

信息、技术与创新系现有在职教师21人，其中教授8人、副教授10人、讲师3人。教师队伍中，拥有海外留学博士学位8人，国家高层次人才2人，国家杰出青年基金获得者2人，国家优秀青年基金获得者 1人，以及教育部跨世纪人才1人。系内教师的研究成果发表在《Academy of Management Journal》《Information Systems Research》《INFORMS Journal on Computing》《Journal of International Business Studies》《Journal of Marketing》《Management Science》《Marketing Science》《MIS Quarterly》《Production and Operations Management》等国内外顶级学术期刊。多位教师还担任国际权威期刊的副主编或编委。

ITI currently has 21 full-time faculty members, including 8 professors, 10 associate professors, and 3 assistant professors. Among them, 8 hold Ph.D. degrees from overseas institutions, 2 are recipients of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, 1 is a recipient of the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars, and 1 is recognized as a Trans-Century Talent by the Ministry of Education. Faculty research has been published in leading international journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Information Systems Research, INFORMS Journal on Computing, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Marketing, Management Science, Marketing Science, MIS Quarterly, and Production and Operations Management. Several faculty members also serve as associate editors or editorial board members of top-tier international journals.
