内容简介:

This seminar outlines main developments in the HRM field, including thematic interests, contemporary tensions and challenges being addressed in the top HRM journals, and the key controversies currently animating the field. These are also areas of HRM research that are highly relevant to the policy and practice in the current global political-economic context. These research pursuits are shifting from firm-oriented and technology-oriented to becoming more employee-oriented and society-oriented. The presentation extends these lines of enquiry with suggestions of what future research can examine to keep pace with practice and to offer policy and practical recommendations. The presentation also highlights key issues to be aware of in making a successful submission and publication in top human resource management (HRM) journals. The speaker will draw on personal experience as an author, reviewer and editor of various journals and share lessons learned to help participants increase their chances of publishing in the top HRM journals. This seminar will be an interactive one in which the participants have opportunities to share their views and experience, as well as asking questions.
