内容简介：

In this paper, we minimize the composition of a convex function and the minimum function, which can be either convex or nonconvex. Firstly, by evenly and uniquely partitioning the two-dimensional Euclidean space into multiple regions, we define a class of functions as conditionally additively convex if they are additively convex in each region. Secondly, by requiring each region’s minimizer is monotone, we characterize the optimal policy as a conditional order-up-to policy. Thirdly, given the unique partition, we prove the preservation of the proposed properties in minimization problems with fixed and random capacity. Fourthly, we apply the properties in a two-component assembly system under discrete random capacity. At last, we extend the concept and properties from two-dimensional functions to high-dimensional functions.

演讲人简介：

邓天虎，苏州大学商学院，教授。2008年毕业于清华大学工业工程系，获学士学位；2013年毕业于美国加州大学伯克利分校，获博士学位。主要研究智慧供应链的方法论框架和企业解决方案。目前研究成果已于Operations Research、Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Informs Journal on Computing以及Interfaces等国际学术期刊上获得发表。
