内容简介：

For many companies, experimentation is growing to be central to decision-making process for evaluating changes in product development, algorithm iterations, or even GenAI deployment, especially in online platforms and marketplaces. While the randomized controlled trials have a long history in social sciences, applying them in business settings poses new challenges, such as complex user interference, dynamic environments, and large-scale implementations. In the talk, I will discuss how to address some of the challenges using switchback experiments, including the industrial collaborations with P&G and DoorDash.

演讲人简介：

Tu Ni is a postdoc fellow at Harvard Business School, in the Data Science and AI Operations Lab. Before that, he obtained PhD in operations research and analytics at NUS, Master in operations research at UC Berkeley, and Bachelor in math at ZJU. He also worked in SF express as an operations research engineer for one year.
