My presentation will introduce my portfolio of research on strategically targeted HRM systems, including an overview of three working papers entitled "Effects of Flexibility-Oriented HRM on Knowledge Acquisition, Productive Energy, and Team Effectiveness: The Moderating Roles of Leader Territorial Behavior and Short-Termism," “An investigation of the relationship between ethics-oriented HRM systems, moral attentiveness, and deviant workplace behavior,” and "Stay hungry, stay foolish: The moderating role of needs satisfaction on proactive motivation and personal initiative."

 

演讲人简介

Ying Hong is an Associate Professor in the Leading People and Organizations area at the Gabelli School of Business. Prior to this appointment, she was an Assistant Professor in the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. Professor Hong received her PhD in industrial relations/human resources from Rutgers University. She specializes in research on the strategic role of human-resource management and its linkage with service excellence. Her work has appeared in peer-reviewed journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Human Resource Management, Human Resource Management Review, and Academy of Management Learning & Education. She received the Scholarly Achievement Award from the human resources division of the Academy of Management.
